Norfolk's Local History and Genealogy Collection is part of the Slover Library
situated in the heart of Downtown Norfolk.

Our collection contains materials about Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland.

We have a wealth of resources about the Greater Hampton Roads Region including
yearbooks, directories, newspapers, maps, and photographs.

We reside on the 2nd Floor at Slover Library!

Scrapbooking Your Family Story

Location - Room 105, Board Conference Room

Join us at this hands-on event where you will have the opportunity to start building a scrapbook for your family, or add to your existing one. Bring photos that you would like to put into your book (or same-sized copies). We’ll provide materials to help you get started. Presented by the Sargeant Memorial Collection at Slover Library, in partnership with Don’t Duck History. Register early, space is limited to 25 people!
